Charissa, sorry for my tardy reply.
Yes, I had a two stop Cokin ND filter on front of my lens. It was an overcast day, so that helped with the long exposure.
The subjects were Daffodils in my wifes front flower bed.
Thank you for the comments!! |

Charissa, very nice composition. I think the lighting is excellent. The dew drops add a lot of punch. Great shot! |

Stewart, one of my camera club members made the same suggestion. The phrase she used was: "there should be only one photographer in the image". I guess she is correct!
Thank you! |

Bridget, thank you. The entire experience was quite interesting. I knew the turntables were worked by hand, but I didn't know how easy it was for the two fellows and the child to do the task. |

Bridget, this is an excellent image. I like and appreciate how you visualize things. I like the ghostly image in the background with the eye above the statue. The impact of this image is very strong. This would make a fabulous print! |

Tom, great shot! The background is excellent. Flash? Was the critter just adjacent to a shaded area? Regardless, excellent image.
Model release? |

Jamie, I like the shot. Sharp and the lighting is good. Looks peaceful enough, but still quite the beast! |

Richard, very interesting image. I'd prefer to have the rider's head sharp. It looks like part of the front frame of the trike is pretty sharp. I really like and appreciate your work on this image. I've tried capturing one of our dogs racing around the yard without much success. So, I appreciate what you've done! |

Bev, very colorful subject. I agree somewhat with Tom. It's good to get that piece of plastic pipe cloned out. I'm not bothered by the other fish.
Pleasing image! |

Tom,
Thank you so much for the comments. Up until this little trip I wondered how they dealt with rotating a locomotive. I anticipated something more substantial than two guys pushing on either in of the turntable. Goes to show how important balance is on these things. The small steam locomotive weighed 22 tons and the two fellows didn't work especially hared at turning it. |
