John, colorful image. The Crocus are lovely subjects. The lighting was a bit harsh. So, I opened the image in Elements and used the shadow/highlights tool to darken the highlights a bit and brighten the shadows.

Charissa, golden yellow and blue sky. Excellent mix! I didn't like the lower portion of the frame so I cropped in a bit to accentuate the gold and blue. What do you think? |

Bridget, another excellent image. I agree with Stewart. I think getting the camera centered in the arch would be great. I like your idea. I wonder how this would look taken later in the day. Maybe just before dusk so the background would be darker...
