John, nice subject. You have good sharpness. The background is a bit bright. I opened the image in Elements and tried to darken the background using smart select and then decreasing the brightness. See what you think! |

Stewart, nice composition. The art work is quite impressive. I like the fellow with the hat in the opening. The dredge may have worked were it further out and smaller rather than "running out the frame". I like the shot! |

Jamie - Very good! Your treatment adds a lot of "zoom" to the flower. My eye gets pulled right in. It looks like the subject was strongly lit from the side which adds interest to me. |

Richard, very good! The subject is very sharp and the lighting is excellent. I agree with Bridget: it may be good to do something with the background. I suppose you have to work with the sky that was present at the time of capture. Maybe saturate the blue a little.
