Frank, the detail in this image is excellent. I agree with Charissa's comments. I've done very little with focus stacking. This images shows how effective that can be. I expect you can use shorter shutter speeds to compromise motion blur.... |

Bev, this is a very nice shot. I find the subject interesting. It's sharp, and darkening the ground helps the image. I also like Fran's crop. That really helps highlight the plant. Good work!! |

Charissa, I like the arrangement and the vase and background. Maybe a little side lighting off to the right (reflector) would soften the shadow. I'm assuming you used window lighting. I don't mind the shadow that much and having a hint of a shadow would keep depth in the image.
Very good work. The flowers are very colorful and sharp and the whites are very clean. This is a pleasing image. It's brightened my morning!! |

Frank, thank you! Yes, I agree with your assessment about a closer crop. What you did worked nicely. Generally speaking, I was pleased with the image quality from my phone. I've not used it much for image making. I have a newer phone now and am finding the IQ to be even better. Pretty amazed with these things... |

Janie, wow, generally speaking. I'm a bit confused by this AI business. I appreciate Tom's and Stewart's comments about his technology.
Having said that, I'm leaning towards the original with the more brightly lit rock outcropping, though Stewart's adjustments also produced a very pleasing image.
I summation: between advancements with smartphoneography and AI we'll be able to just tell the phone what we want and it will happen......
