Frank,
Excellent image. The vignette you made works very well. It seems to make the rose pop out of the frame. I like the water droplets. The color is great and the image is nicely sharp.
Thanks for sharing!

Charissa,
Thank you. It was a nice sunny winters day. So, there was plenty of reflected light off of the snow in my front yard flooding the room. I appreciate your comment!

Bev,
Nice subject. I like your original capture. I'd be tempted to just crop up a little and down a little to emphasize the flower more. The water has nice reflections! Great subject! |

Bev, thank you. Yes, I don't do a lot of still life efforts. This was largely my friends idea!! |

Richard, thank you for your comments. I really appreciate them.
I am not that skilled in post processing to understand blending mode that well. So, I'll say the mode was default which I expect would be normal.
Thank you!!! |

Tom,
Cool! I like the first black and white version the best. It seems to fit the car very well and your human element seems to fit the scene especially well in that version. Very clean black and white! Nicely done!

Bev, I'm with you in revisiting older work. I'm not getting out as much. I have too much to do on the property. On top of that I am now the President of the camera club I belong to. Not sure how it happened. One minute I'm having a cocktail, then everything goes blank for a time and when I come to the members are singing "hail to the chief" and slapping me on the back...

Stewart,
I like what you did in post processing. The scene is impressive and the sepia tone sems appropriate for the subject. Richard and Janie's crops do create a different perspective, but I like your original capture. Very good!! |

Jamie,
Great story. Nice color and very sharp. Amusing image. I agree with Tom about the eyes. Gives your subject a slightly spooky appearance. Great shot!!! |

Richard,
Great story about the capture. The lighting on the birds is very good and the interaction between them is very interesting. I agree with Tom regarding the nest in the background and I think his edit was very good. Really nice shot. Sounds like you had a fine expedition! |

Bev - Very interesting image. I've not taken images off of a television. Kamala Harris does have energy and I suspect some of the blurring around the collar is motion blur, but could also be from the TV. Your image does tell a story. Good job! |

Tom, thank you! By the way, I said I took the image with a D9. I'm not in an income bracket to afford that camera. It was a D90..... |
