Lloyd - The end result is very good. It's good your camera can retain good detail in the dark areas of the original file. I like to composition. Very pleasing scene! |

Tom - Wow! I'm late with my comments!
I like the image. You've done a very good job with the composite. That sky is excellent. Really makes for a dramatic scene. I'm glad you were able to capture the lightning and make use of it as an element in this image.
Nice work! |

Jamie,
Excellent! What a neat place. This image makes me think of the Hobbit! There looks to be a slight vignette in the corners which works very well for me. Did you do any postprocessing in camera before sending?
Very nice! That iPhone takes agood picture!

Paul,
Excellent story. So many beautiful railroad stations were left to decay or were torn down for a shopping mall or concrete and glass office building. I'm glad the city of Boise is making use of the building. I like what Tom and Bev did to the image. Overall, I like the scene very much!

Bev - Wow! The scene is very magical. I love the color and the reflection in the water. Very, very nice.
By the way, I do see the bright spot Tom referred to. Perhaps it's not in your original image and something that appeared during upload [I've no idea how].
Thank you for sharing!

Tom,
Thank you. Some are on skis and some use snowboards. I think this guy was on skies given the alignment of his legs.
Generally speaking the participants are having a good time. Many of the novice participants do take spills. The experienced teams definitely enjoy themselves. |

Lloyd,
You are correct about using content aware fill to replace the fencing. I did think about the aqua coloring of the ice/snow in the foreground but didn't pursue trying to replace the color....... I will give that a shot tomorrow an see what comes out!
Thank you for your comments! |
