Lloyd, I am sorry for the VERY tardy reply to your comment. I do have a tendency to over-sharpen images and that may be the case here. Looking at my image, I agree that maybe a softer approach to the subject would be more appropriate given the subject. I kind of like Tom's suggestion to darken the background further. Great feedback!! Thank You!! |

This is a seriously nice image. The colors are great and the bird is sharp. The reflection is excellent.
I'm sorry you didn't capture a wild horse image, but this shot like a "winnah" to me!!

I've flubbed around with panning shots of one of our dogs. Big challenge will no success.
I like what you've done here. There's definitely motion captured in the image. The bow of the pole and posture of the athlete creates a lot of tension in the image.
By extension, my minds eye anticipates the athlete being vaulted towards the upper right corner of the frame.
