Lloyd, I'm curious about what the daughter may be saying to her dad. This is a nice shot given Fathers Day on the horizon. The folks in the background add to the story. You have elements that suggest this is a pretty active place, and maybe the kids have had a long day! |

Tom, thank you for sharing this image. Every time I see an old piece of machinery abandoned in a field I always wonder about the last person to operate it and whether or not they intended to abandon it. I'm sure whoever bought the car new was pretty happy and proud with the acquisition and here you are may decades later imaging it as now a long neglected relic! The colors are pleasing as is the sharpness. Good stuff!! |

Mary, very pleasing image. I think it's fine that the houses in the middle of the row were lit up and the houses on the wings not. That did draw may eye right in.
The reflections are appealing. The image is sharp and I enjoyed viewing your work! |

Jamie, I really like this image. Abstracts have a lot of appeal for me. The leading lines of the bridge supports and the back ground works. I can see a framed poster! The bridge guys are sharp and you have good depth of focus. Very appealing, very good! |

Outstanding! I really like the position of the subject with respect to the flower. The color is very good. As noted previously the blurry element in the frame is a distraction, but not that much for me. I think getting the humming bird sharp is an achievement. So, your shot works well for me! |

Bev - Stunning image. Everything about it is so good. Stu's conversion came out very well to permit the enhancements you've done. The flower fits so well with the composition. I do think your resubmittal after Lloyd's suggestions is a better image. Great work. |

Jamie, thank your for the comment and the suggestion. Your right about there being too much space to the right of the frame that doesn't add anything to the image.
I'll dub around with layers a bit more. It would be good for someone to explain the difference between masks and layers. I've watch a few videos, but none of them have resonated with me.... |
