16 Sep 22 Comment Good portrait of the painter. I miss some filling flash or brightening darker side of face a little bit. Branches i the background are a little bit distracting.

Otherwise I prefer Original 2 and Terries processing. This photo has more story.

It's good, that you have darken the flower. I agree with Joan that it should remain a little bit more bright.

I think, that some parts of flower are a little bit soft. You should use smaller aperture for larger DOF.		 Sep 23rd
16 Sep 22 Comment Interesting sea scene. But there was surely something wrong in color/BW conversion or other processing. It's not a problem of low contrast. It's a problem of tone values. I think Hank's processing is the best.
Anyway I prefer color version.		 Sep 23rd
16 Sep 22 Comment I like night atmosphere in the photo. I congratulate you capturing so sharp photo hand held at 1/4s. I agree, that some lights are overexposed. You may correct that by first correction with highlights.
