Very nice flower. For me there is quite enough DOF. A little unsharpness in front doesn't disturb me. You have processed background perfectly. |

Interesting object pelican in flight.
Here you have two problems. I can't see the sharpness of the original. But maintaining focus in bird of flight will surely not give good results. Also if the focus point was in the middle of the image, the bird is surely not focused. So it's not necessary, that the sharpness was lost during processing.
Second problem is lightening. The original bird is dark, but the head is still on the edge of overexposing. Increasing light to get more details on the feathers makes it worse.

Interesting photo!
I agree with Mohanan, that lower left structures are distraction. But vignetting makes the photo too dark to me. I would just selectively burn them.
About cropping one third is far too much for me. I would crop it on the lower edge of the dam and would crop edge of the wall on the top.

Beautiful pose of the bird with prey. The image is sharp, even too sharp. With F5,6 would be background far more blurred and the bird much better visible without much more processing. Now the only possibility is selective blurring.

Beautiful colors and processing.
A would change the composition. Now the right edge of the house is right on the middle. I prefer to have it on the right third. Terry has solved it with her crop.
The black half-person on the right destructs me. In such situations, there is the best possibility to wait until other photographer goes out of the scene. You can even contact him. The last thing is to clone it out. |
