Crop is good. Colors are vivid. Strange cloning on the right side is very difficult because of circular waves. |

Walter,
your extension of the tree is good. You can cut the image on the left side to get rid of strange adjustments and move the tree out of center. |

Joan, we see some different suggestions.
I agree with Walter to cut some bushes on the bottom. Otherwise his processing is very abstract. I like Terry's brightening after your processing. |

I like sunflowers and yours are really beautiful and sharp. I agree with Mohanan, that the image could be quite good without the jar. And the flower in the water is not seen enough.
I would just change the composition. It would be better if the largest flower would not be on the edge. Add one more on the right side.
I see one more distraction. The bottom is so white, that it catches the sights. Make it also in the color of background, black or another darker color.

I will not repeat all your comments.
All cut things (chair) are distractions. Stuart's corrections are better. But image is still busy. I have another suggestion. If this beach is near your home, go there more times. Catch blue sky with clouds, catch the shore without people or still better find one or two of them walking along. |

Thank you all for your helpful comments and suggestions!
I like both suggested corrections. The first one is just not acceptable for Nature Division.
Yes, white is not easy to capture. It can easy be overexposed. So it's necessary to increase F number in Manual mode or lower exposure compensation (EV). The best way is to control histogram not to be cut on the right side.
Of course, both photos should be in portrait format.
I'm happy, that some of you have found help in my article in PSA Journal. |
