Terry, you have got interesting portrait of such a common animal. You have done good job capturing in such low light conitions and processing so good. You don't need to clone the bright feathers. It's better to burn them. |

Kathleen, nice animal on an interesting tree. It was good to use F9 to get enough DOF. If your lens has optical stabilisation, you didn't need to use 1/2500. So you had to increase ISO. It is seen primary on the noise in background, but also foreground can be hardly sharpened.
With no border and cloning the image would be interesting for ND exhibitions.
If the spot was consequence of caturing, you can remove it with spot healing brush or darken it also for ND. |

Walter, I know, that these bones in real enviroment are useless. You have done a lot of work cloning and have made that good. I just don't know, why. |

Joan, I also prefere horizontal orientation. I agree with Bunny, that half of tree on the left is distracton. I would also crop the highest tree on the right and some sky. The enviroment with mighty tree in the foreground is a good choice. |

Bunny, you have captured the man with nice expression. Your processing is good. Although I prefere color photos, in this case bw is better for me. Many distractions in the background are less distracting.
I like Mohanan's darkening of the background. The face stand out so. Darkening is also allowed in Travel Division, where many other processing, cloning and so on are not. |

I thought, that I look at live man, not statue. The function of the man could not be guessed without an explanation.
Technically the photo is good. It could just be a problem of authority rights, because you have captured the art (statue) of another artist.
I also miss the feet.

Bunny, I would like to encourage you to buy an underwater camera if you are diving and like photography. My Panasonic TZ-35 with underwater housing costed 400$ few years ago. Now there are surely new models. Macro adapters costed 250$. Underwater flash is 400$, but for the beginning you perhaps don't need it. Yes, you need a year or two of practice. If you need some help at purchasing, E-mail me.
Last year I've finished with SCUBA diving due to reasons of health. But I'm still snorkeling. |
