Kathleen, you have made a lot of work separating the blossom. I's hard to make it really natural. The best way is to find a little bit separated blossom and capture it.
Orchilds are very beautiful to see, but very hard to photograph. They have so "deep" flower, that you can hardly get enough DOF.
There was an mistake in processing. Not just colors, also shapness is better on the original. |

Walter, your idea of different shooting angle is good. You have used proper aperture for good DOF. Image is sharp and properly exposed. You have made good convertion to bw. |

Joan, very few cameras are able to get sharp photos handheld at 1/10s. That's why I also like Panasonic.
The small compact sensor has given much more DOF, which is good. I also like the corrections.
You shall really clone out the lamp. |

Mohanan, images with so few colors, it's best to convert to black and white (without almost).
Yes, the DOF is not large enough to get both birds sharp. In that case it's better to get the nearest sharp.
Sticked eyes are not a good solution. It's seen unnatural, like they are making jokes, one up, the second down. In such cases I advice to use flash. That gives you some reflex in the eyes from such a distance. And it can also give you more color and contrast.
Overlaping the beak of the first duck with reflexion of the other is indeed distracting. |
