Oh, wow! Thank you everyone! I think I will frame the bird, then I am going to frame all of your comments! :-)
Yeah, the quetzal avocados aren't the same ones that we eat, but Cindy is right. Everyone plants them, hoping to attract quetzals. Costa Rica does a lot to encourage the wildlife, which in turn encourages tourism. It's a gorgeous place to visit. . . pura vida.
