35 Feb 26 Reply Sorry, Debbie. I'm myself so deep in the technical matters of photography that I forget often that they are just tools for many fellow photographers, just as my brushes and pencils for me in my other hobby. However, the analogue IR photography with vintage equipment is not possible without some technical knowledge.
Here you may find some more info about the island, the name of which is Harakka - Magpie in English:

35 Feb 26 Comment "Super panchromatic black and white films are a special type of black and white film characterized by their extended sensitivity to the visible light spectrum. Unlike orthochromatic films, which are insensitive to red light, and panchromatic films, which have some sensitivity to red light, superpanchromatic films are capable of recording the entire visible light spectrum, including the red range."

More about super panchromatic films (please note that the new Leica Monopan 50 is most probable the same film as Adox HR-50):

35 Feb 26 Comment Quite an interesting image. As the landscape itself is a bit boring, this fence structure changes it to the interesting one. The dramatic skies and the ligt reflections suit to thia photo well. Feb 11th
35 Feb 26 Comment What a nice picture. I must have passed this lighthouse many times far away in my merchant navy youth on board vessels due to Mississippi, Texas or the Panama channel. My heart is warm for maritime picture like this. Perhaps some cropping of the left hand side palm trees could be done. A really beautiful photo! Feb 11th
35 Feb 26 Comment I like the Opera House a lot and this is a very handsome image in all. The modern city in the background highlights and balances the landscape nicely. We Finns are proud that our countryman Eero Saarinen was involved in the Sydney Opera House project in history. Concrats! Feb 11th
