This is a nice photo with striking skies, which, for my taste is a bit heavy. I would have lightened the skies a bit and darkened the front area a lot to balance the photo. |

I like this graphic photo. IR gives a very strong contrast, which gives a lot of possibilities to adventure with the structures and shadows. Personally, I woud have cropped the vague upper part away as Phu seggested. |

This is a strong abstract artwork. A new approach to the IR photography. I like it a lot. |

I like this photo. Perhaps a bit of cropping of the quite a large front area and darker skies would make it even better. |

This is a very nice landscape, which brings up some memories from my merchant navy youth. I have visited Australia a couple of times when serving as ordinary seaman and deck officer on board large tramp vessels in the 1980's. There were a lot of strikes in Australia in that time. Once we spent almost one month anchored off Wollong, unable to load due to a strike. During that time we also visited Sydney for bunkering and getting fresh water. A beautiful city. Thanks for the beautiful photo. |

Thank you.I would like to give some more information about this landscape. The road goes to the seaside of this island. The tree and the house are actually on the neighbor island and there are sea between them. So this road is not leading to the well lit part of the picture. |

Thank you for your comments, with which I do agree. However, I always like to be faithfull with my original intuition on the photographing spot. I photograph a lot and make the decision of framing at the same time when pressing the trigger. I also paint and draw trying to balance my artwork as well as I possibly can. Cropping to a smaller picture afterwards is something I do seldom as the pixel quality of the original photo will be much worse. Personally, I like the classic landscape paintings which have shadows in the front area, have some well lit parts and are framed with vegetation. This is my only explanation... |
