This is an interesting portrait. The model with his beard and clothes is very nice. The intensive gaze and the big hat are are also interesting. A nice picture. |

This is a very nice picture and an inviting seaside. Perhaps IR is not the best method for photographing it. However, I like the braking of waves at the beach. |

Thanks for all the comments. As keen B&W photographer my aim is to get all the tonal zones in the picture and do not often realize that the result may become dull. This is a valuable reminder and advice for correcting this habit. I myself like the pics that are not so obviously IR, ie. frosty white grass and leaves in summer time. My only excuse is that the picture looks different in full screen size, but the stamp size photos do mke a dull picture even more dull. I try to keep this in my mind. |

Thank you for your comments. I usually frame the picture at taking in such manner I like it. So, a radical cropping is not that.
