Dave - on the other hand you have Big Sur and the Oregon coastline to visit with its seastacks and cliffs, here in North Carolina, just lots of sand on the coast. Still Acadia NP is special. Ray |

Thanks Butch - like with your rainbow, there was a degree of luck in being at the right place at the right time. Ray |

Gary, I really enjoyed looking multiple times at this image - and yes B&W makes it. Great composition, nice leading line, the sand dune shapes are very organic against the sharpness of the mts. I kinda like the softness of the dunes as they are. If you don't already, take a look at using Nik Silver Efex for your B&W as the program offers many different templates plus adjustments. Ray |

Ian, a really great image - color wise, composition wise, and yuo can always eliminate the foot prints if you desire. Not much to say other than thanks for sharing. Ray |

David, I like the sparseness of the image and wonder what it might look like in B&W and maybe as a panorama. I was checking out parts of the image and noted a purplish band at the top of the mts in the distance. The discussion above and here reinforces that we are all individuals who approach photography with an individual viewpoint which makes interacting in a group a rewarding experience. Wish I had been there with you as I like that view. Ray |

well done is right and a "back yard" photo - what a view you have and being able to get that enlarged a rainbow is just super. I agree with Dave that a little and I mean little more light on the foreground shadows might be interesting. Be interesting to see what else you might get out your windows. Ray |

Sherry, you did good and thanks for the image as it reminds me of just how much I enjoyed my trip to Iceland some 9 years ago. Like you I would like to return. I favor what Butch has done as he cropped some of the sky so more focus on the buildings. Everything is crisp and the clouds certainly help. Ray |
