Alison, lovely image with great colors and a very nice background. I agree with Murphy about, if possible, moving to better separate the flower tip from the stem would have been ideal. But we all know not always possible in the moment. Ray |

Mo, a lovely photo and definitely better with the flower being at an angle. Its prime time for dahlias currently at home and many have been objects of my attention. I agree with murphy that very suitable for framing. Ray |

Murphy, the zinnias make for a great composition and I like the green border. I am not sure but it seems to me that some of the flowers are not as sharp as others. Is this a depth of field result? Would focus stacking have been possible - like say 3 photos at f/16 but with different focal points - close, mid, far? Or perhaps you prefer the softness. Ray |

Vincent, I agree with Murphy. Maybe be a little more subtle with the background. Ray |

Thanks Murphy. I still carry my Nikon Z8 with me, but like in this case, I was sitting in the bus with a 200 to 500 lens on the camera with an iPhone sitting in my pocket so that is what I used. I have found that in some situations the iPhone does really well, but not so well for others. Ray |
