Mo - no problem with the droplets - they were there and until in the sun, stayed. I have used a water bottle to spray, just not very often - does work really well with spider webs |

Harsh, no - just an opinion on an image I truly liked but thought it worthy of pointing out the only aspect that I thought could be improved. An apology if you thought I was harsh at all. Ray |

Mo, interesting and interesting - good use of a flash to as you say beat out the ambient light and make the sunflower bud the center of attention. I don't get the purple streaks in the sky (please explain whether deliberate or coincidental) and a smidgen more space at the top would be useful. Nice! Ray |

Alison - good for you and nice to have a natural scene to look at. I like the scene a lot but am slightly bothered by those 2 intertwined trees smack in the middle of the frame. Cropping off just a small amount of the left side say to just before where the partial tree trunk is coming out of the water would leave that reflection while moving the enter trees a little to the left of center. Murphy - great colors, all in focus. My only suggestion is to remove the partial flowers at the edges as they tend to make eyes wander out of the frame. Maybe not all like the bunch in the upper left is not so much a problem. Ray |

Vincent - its called a pocketbook plant (among many other names). While I like your final version, the absence of a stem (not that there is one) really makes it seem like floating in space and without a white border, it seems like a big space. I agree with Murphy that leaving albeit very faint leaves in the background would have help to ground the flowers. See attached as an example. |
