Super image to give to a loved one - imagine it frames in someones bedroom asa. reminder for all time. And, you point out the importance of looking from different perspectives. I like the way the ice changes texture and I even like the little twig coming out at 9 o'clock. Ray |

Alison, I now see what you mean about someone sitting in the tree at the top - and congratulations as being imaginative is definitely a plus in photography as in what do you see that others miss. Ray |

Alison, you did great as in almost perfect - nice composition, great colors. I agree that having the stem in focus all the way down would have made for a better image. And, one thing most of us end up doing is to add a frame in PS sow people know where the image ends given that they are displayed against a black background. Ray |

Murphy, for me, I wish the small 2nd leaf up from the bottom as well as the darker small leaf facing left further up were in focus or gone, and the composition is just a tad too tight on both sides, and am not sure about the cut-off leaf at the top but I am sure that was intended. Given all that, I like the background, that the branch comes out of the lower left, and the color palate. Ray |

very cool - both in regard to the composition and the colors. You provided enough space and I even like the slight lean to the right. I agree with Murphy about fixing one situation might make another worse - however, Lightroom has a great program for making a background out of focus; meaning make the image sharp and then post-process the background to the extent you want. Thanks Murphy - not possible without the generative fill program in PS. Ray |
