75 Jun 24 Comment Mo, I admit looking forward to your contribution and wondering what the next one will bring. I expect that the placement of the pearls is somewhat out of your control but I think the large one at the top might be better if off to the side of the plant but just not sure. Also, might a little less space att he top bring the viewer's eye more on the roses but I also like the shading in that direction - oh well, good job. Ray Jun 4th
75 Jun 24 Comment Gaetan, you did good - it is one time where the presence of shadows adds depth and interest due to the fly. I agree the bottom is a tad too tight but you could add space in Photoshop or presumably ON1. Ray Jun 4th
75 Jun 24 Comment Judy, an enjoyable image - I don't se any texture in the stamen - maybe has none or the white area is blown? And I would clone out the line in the lower right leaf as just not needed. For me, I don't mind the stalk projections as it provides history. Ray Jun 4th
75 Jun 24 Comment Dan, an enjoyable image and I like you kept it in context. you might eliminate the white spots in the upper right corner. Ray Jun 4th
75 Jun 24 Comment Thanks Murphy, I appreciate seeing the California version - for me, the background is too muddy and its too bad that the "tongue" of the upper one is in the head of the lower one - still, I like that you flipped it. Ray Jun 4th
75 Jun 24 Comment Vincent - i use an app called picture this to find the name of flowers etc. This is called a paperflower, a species of bougainvillea. you did good - i like the background, the spiderweb, and the fact that some parts of the flower have aged, and I am a stem from the corner kinda person. 75 Jun 24 Reply Dan, not sure what you mean by the top of the insect - its all there except for the rear. Ray Jun 4th
75 Jun 24 Reply Thanks Mo Jun 4th
75 Jun 24 Reply Thanks, I am continually surprised by how well the iphone does in certain circumstances, like this one. Ray Jun 4th
