Sorry about that - it does not pay to be lazy about names! |

Mo - A real flame always looks better than on from PS - and I like the fact that the rose is oval while the flame is tall and thin - I wonder what a flame from the center of the rose would look like but then how would you make that happen. Or try a small incense stick that smolders so its smoke that comes out. Ray |

Gaetan, you might try taking a normal photo and then exploring different types of ICM filters in Photoshop just as a way to see what different types of ICM might give you. Ray |

Dan, I just noticed - at the far right, 2 petals at the top, some smudge around each one - just something to clone out. |

Dan, an almost really great image - I find the "snow" distracting. You might already do this but when I start taking a stach, I first focus on the image and then move the focus forward until nothing is in focus and then start the stack, as before doing this, I seemed to get some closest area out of sharp focus. Mo, I very much appreciate seeing this. Very innovative, great contrast with colors and shapes. I agree about the hard angle in the upper right. Ray |

Vincent - you did good, bug and all. It would be interesting to see if making the background darker makes a difference. Ray |
