Thanks Murphy - with consideration, you are correct - it looks better with a thinner border, a different color I am not so sure of. |

Dan, not a lens I know anything about but I appreciate the creativity that goes with using that lens. Great composition but I wonder if it would have been possible to increase the f stop just to get the supporting branch more in focus while leaving all of the "bubbles" as they are? Ray |

Murphy, one of my favorite flowers so I very much appreciate the image. The colors are gorgeous. My only suggestion is that the left border is just too close to the flower and more room would have made the image better. If a problem in taking the photo in the garden, more space could have been added in post, at least in Photoshop although I don't know about Elements 2020. Ray |

Vincent, I agree with Murphy about the lack of sharpness, especially as it applies to the stem, and the usefulness of a border but I also like the composition. I wonder if you could have used an even greater f stop for a greater depth of field which of course would result in a higher iso but given the ability of various programs to deal with that, it might not have been a problem. Also not a fan of borders but with the black background the images are presented on it does help to show where the edges of the image are. Think I should have used a more narrow one but next time. Thanks. |

Mo, a super arty image that I enjoyed seeing - the only part that bothered me is the obvious displacement on the right side and to a lesser extent the one at the top. Are they included for a reason as a tighter crop would have eliminated both? Ray |
