Thanks Jeff,
I tried working with the beams of light at various intensities. I chose "subtle" because I didn't want the image to be only about those beams. I wanted a more balanced look. But I am sure many would agree with you. |

Kirsti,
Nice image. However, I have been told quite a few times, "If it doesn't add to the image, it is actually taking away from it. That's how I feel about the trees on the left side. I think they split the image into two separate images. My suggestion would be to crop the left side up to the trees that are barely visible in the middle. I think that crop makes the statue really stand out. Just my 2 cents. |

Jeff,
To my eye, I don't think you can make any significant improvements to this image. It's outstanding! I see only one possible edit. You might try slightly darkening the thin line wave line along the shore on the left. You don't want the viewer's eyes moving to the left (Brighter side). You want it following the riders' diagonal flow to the right. Maybe lighten the wave line long the shore on the right side instead. Regardless, I still go with "Outstanding".
