Robert,
Not sure what your comment means. Leave it in or take it out?

Robert,
Thanks. There was a LOT of processing. I will need to go back and look at my master file layers to go over what steps I followed. What I can say right now, is that this was a 5 shot focus bracketed shot.

Jeff,
My only suggestion is to remove the reflection of the trees or bushes in the right side water. I would remove the reflection that goes into the lighter shade water. I see it and can't stop looking at it. Especially since it is the only such reflection. For me, it detracts from the overall "Smoothness" of the water line.

Kirsti,
I don't understand emotion this image is supposed stir. I can't figure out what the ghostly images are, and as a result, I don't get the story you are attempting to tell.

ED,
I am not a fan of "old timey" images, but I like this one. Since I don't do them, I really have no comments for improvement.

Robert,
I like this shot but I don't think the birds stand out enough. You can use levels or curves to darken the grasses so the birds "POP". You can use luminosity masks also with either adjustment layer.

Albert,
I think the water in the foreground is a bit too bright and keeps me from looking any further into the shot. In fact, I think I would crop out the two pools of water in the foreground. If you don't like that crop, I would reduce brightness and contrast in closest pool a lot and the second pool a little less so your eye follows the brightness into the image. my 2 cents. |
