69 Jan 23 Reply Thanks, Merwyn! I appreciate the critique. I enjoy seeing what others see in the image that I did not. Jan 7th
69 Jan 23 Comment Hi Jacob - I'm new to the group. That is an eye-catching bird. I would love to know more about it. Your crop is really nice, and I like how the bird is looking at you. I too would add a little vignetting around the edges. Jan 6th
69 Jan 23 Comment Hi Cindy - I'm new to the group. I really enjoy the energy of this photo. The crop is nice. I like the diagonal line that the birds are on. I love the interaction of the birds, especially the youngster in the back who doesn't look happy that it's not the one getting fed. You are so lucky to have cardinals! Jan 6th
69 Jan 23 Comment The reflection is beautiful. I wish I were there right now. It has so much more drama as a black and white than in color. I particularly like how the clouds in the reflection hold your attention in front of the image. As I moved through it, I kept coming back to those reflected clouds. Really nice, Jan 6th
69 Jan 23 Comment I love the color and detail of both the butterfly and the flower. It's quite beautiful. Jan 6th
69 Jan 23 Reply Thanks, Pierre - I like your crop. I do tend to like to place my subjects in the left or right third of my images. I also like the vertical crop. I wasn't sure the water added much to the image since there wasn't much of it in the original, but it looks good how you did it. Thanks for the different perspective! -C Jan 6th
69 Jan 23 Reply Thank you, Dean - Kittiwakes are some of my favorites. They are beautiful to watch. I like the idea a little more to see how that works. -C Jan 6th
