Wonderful shot! You have made the racoons look so lovely. I have enjoyed by looking at them so much, I just do not want to move my eyes away from them. Great choice to use flash. There is no shadows and noise in the image. The racoons are in their perfect position, their eyes contact, could not get any better than that. This one should be a print on your wall.
My 2 suggestions: Verticle format. Get rid of the right side tree branch.
Remove the bright spot near the bottom right.

I like the way you have cropped the image and I also like the way you have edited your image, which now is a pretty photo to look at, although I think it is a little bit over saturated. The yellow colour of the foreground matches the yellow on the hills, so the whole picture looks nice and interesting. Comparing the original and the finished, I think you have done a good job in your post. |

I quite like this photo. The yellow fern on the bottom looks nice and verticle fomat worked well. Some photographers do not like the sky in the woodland photos, but for yours, it looks OK to me. |

Very nice typical Iceland scenary. The colour of the image is good. The picture is sharp through out and records the location you have been. But it seems to me that there is no clear subject within the image. I also think that you should exclude the road from the right hand side. There is also a piece of bare dirt on the right side which doesn't help this image. |

I am going to give you a thump up for the work you have done in the post process. The subject was definately over exposed in your original. But you have got it fixed up in the post and the image looks lovely. I thank you that you listed the steps you have done in your post. Because I am not aware of this technique, "Content aware fill". As I said before, "something new everytime."
If I want to be picky, I would crop off a bit more from the right and bottom. |

The effort you have put in the post has got paid back very well. The foreground was nicely chosen and worked greatly. The position of milky way is fantastic. Beautiful image! Well done.
Question: Have you used any sort of light from the left? I can see the shadow on the left rock. |
