Great storytelling! I like that you raised the back items to make them more visible. Lots of great focus everywhere. I do like the geometry transforms that Joan did. Sometimes, just stepping back can help shapes retain their shapes. |

It was fun to experiment. I knew it was possible, just not sure how. Since it was successful, then months later I had to try different variations...
This photo is one die, one exposure, same black reflective surface, 1 sec at f/13 where the flash flashed about 20 times. This happened, because I was reading about how to set a higher speed sync in my flash manual, and saw it had the ability to strobe 10, 20 or 30 times in a second ....
30 minutes of playing, after I realized only one die was needed.

Pure luck with it being on rule of thirds. On the ghost, it's amazing to me that a red die was captured as a white die with black dots. Unediting, it's just the way it was. |

Great choice for the rule of thirds. Plus good choice of camera settings at sunset to set a pleasant relaxing mood. Also, the symmetry works very well. Something to consider is what if the scene was brighter, as I played around with various sliders, I noticed most everything I tried added so much contrast it took away from the relaxing mood. Nevertheless, this is a little brighter. Albeit, it might be take away from the mood. |

I was wondering a little about what objects to include in the rule of odds, the house 2 windows and a door. The house and two utility poles … While you have an amazing sky, I wonder what you think if cropping in more helps or hurts the mode. Here is a tighter crop I was experimenting with. |

I like the arrangement. As mentioned above, the harsh light leads lots of differences between the brights and shadows. Sometimes, if you can't move things, just getting somebody to stand and cast a shadow helps. My eye comes to a rest on the left flower, if you wanted me to stop on the center flower there is a petal stopping me from seeing the center. |
