Beautiful location for photography! The natural formation of the tree framing the arch is an interesting effect. The bright blue sky contrasts well with the red rock. It looks like some detail is lost on the red sand to the right of the tree (could be my monitor). Depending on what you are going for - I would either lighten up the tree to improve clarity or tone it down to a silhouette. Just a thought. |

Well done with the HDR exposure - looks like there was lots of high contrast that day. The tree is nicely lit, even on the shadow side there is lots of detail, though I might lighted this a bit in Lightroom. The contrast with the blue sky with wispy clouds makes the tree pop. The composition looks good. One thing I might remove is the brush on the left side as it draws my attention away from the subject. |

Wow Sheldon, at first this looked like a painting. The sharpness throughout the image is captivating, and the bright colors draw you into the picture. I would love to know if you did anything post-processing to bring out the detail and clarity. Beautiful photo!!! |

Very creative, Carlos! Looks like you had lots of fun in Lightroom! I never thought of toning down saturation - I usually always increase it. I'll remember that trick! It definitely creates an interesting effect to the image. The split colors and texture in the background is a new twist visually, but tends to detract from the rose. Red typically grabs my attention. I really like the way you were thinking outside the box with this photo! |

This picture is amazing!!! I love the texture and detail on the leaves, the droplets of water (or did you use Karo Syrup?), and bokeh background make the subject pop. The composition looks great! I thought you might have shot this with a macro lens, but it looks like you used a zoom. Wow! Very well done, Martha! |

This is a great black and white picture - the lighting is even, no blown out areas, texture on the building looks sharp. The clouds add interest - did you add them or were they already there? Great picture of the Liver building - I can't think of anything to change. |
