Nice image of the hummingbird in flight - it could not have been easy to capture. Although the leaf gives a sense of nature, the background looks artificial - almost like a studio shot. The lighting is balanced well and brightens the eyes. |

Great shot of a moment in time. It makes me wonder - was it a strike, ball, base hit, did the runner on 1st base make it to second??? You're leaving me hanging :). All kidding aside, I like the photo and composition as is - while the adverts do compete for your attention, it does give you the sense that you are in the stadium. |

I guess we were all fooled into thinking the sand was snow :). The tree contrasts well from the background and sand, although on my monitor the leaves appear out of focus. The composition works well, but I would consider enhancing the colors of the clouds and sunrise. |

This image really pops with the blue contrasting from the black & white. I really like the artistic effect this creates. The image is still sharp though it was shot at 1/30s - well done. I would have opened the aperture more to get a blurred background and increase the shutter speed. Very cool approach to this picture. |

This is a beautiful image - very sharp detail and nicely blurred background. There are a few white hot spots the neck that should probably be toned down. |

The monochrome image and sharp detail are this image's strongest qualities. While I understand the desire to include the entire shadow, I agree with prior comments that it doesn't add to the image - I would crop the bottom as previously suggested; perhaps a square crop would work well as Martha commented. |
