I love this image and would love to know what photo group you were with. I plan to go to Costa Rica in April to shoot birds and any helpful hints are appreciated - as Martha mentioned, what flash did you use? Any post processing? They do look like they are chatting it up. The feathers seem a little soft in the chest area, but the contrast with the background really make these beautiful creatures stand out. |

As others have noted, great contrast with the sky and clouds. Sometimes you can't get the train to arrive when you want to! The cars in the parking lot are slightly distracting. My eye is searching for the main point of interest - I tend to wander down the tracks then jump to the building, then back to the tracks. Maybe this is just my problem :). |

Beautiful portrait of a couple deep in thought. I'm glad you took the effect to resurrect this image and enhance it - it is definitely worth keeping. I agree with Glen, the halo is a bit distracting, but other than that this is a great photo! |

Ed, you are not in the minority. I too like the people in the foreground. A 15s exposure is pretty slow and I'm wondering if you couldn't have increased the ISO instead? I know it's a balancing act, but I'm finding I can shoot with higher ISO's and not get too much grain. |

Interesting, moody image of landscape. I do like the monochrome effect and clouds hanging in the mountainous background. Good sharpness in the foreground. I wish I knew more about filters, but input from others in the group is always helpful. |

Nice sharpness throughout the image. The sky seems a little washed out, but overall it's an appealing architectural image. The contrast of the cross pops against the background which adds interest. |
