The sunrise was slightly to the left of the bridge, which backlit the brush on the left. You have a good eye Glenn! There were wispy clouds on the morning this was shot, but the replacement was more bold in appearance. Thanks for your input! |

I agree with Sheldon's comment regarding the tree branch being a bit distracting. I am finding the remove tool in Photoshop quite handy for cleaning up my photos :). I like the composition and the colors allow for the subject to stand out. Great photo! |

I like the composition but would lighten up the area on the right to capture more detail in the trees. A slower shutter speed might be an interesting effect - all depends on what you are going for. Variable light such as this I find difficult to balance. I like the image - looks like a beautiful area! |

I agree with the comments above. Good documentary shot, but would have preferred if they all looked at the camera and would like to see the fifth dancer that is partially obstructed by the boy. |

This is an amazing image of the bird coming in to snatch its prey. Excellent sharpness on the bird. Is the red dot sight a tool that works within the camera? Does this device have a name (other than red dot sight)? Looks like you had an amazing time in Kenya!!! And you answered a question I had this weekend - how fast is the shutter speed to freeze the wings of birds in flight. I imagine it depends on the bird and what they are doing. |

Happy to hear that no animals were harmed in the making of this photo! Great close-up shot of this insect and the white background provides a good contrast. The shadows are a little distracting and a second light might have been useful to balance the lighting (perhaps you were running out of arms?). Excellent sharpness on the eyes and throughout the insects lanky body. Did you do focus stacking? My question is: how did you keep the critter from hoppy away? |

The texture, color, and patterns give this photo a unique appearance. If you had not mentioned what you were photographing in the notes, I would not have known this was a lamppost. I think I would like to see something to contrast with the old rusty lamppost, maybe a flower or plant - something that would draw my focus into the picture. |
