Beautiful shot of the Milky Way - something I would like to shoot sometime (but not in 17 degree temp!). I think the foreground and shadows add interest to the shot. I'm confused with the lighting. I don't dislike, just confused - it seems to be coming from the left of the photo, but the moon is straight ahead. Was the sun setting/rising? I love all the stars! Very nice photo of the Milky Way, Glenn! |

This is really a great shot - it almost looks like thousands of eyes are looking at you. The background cattle adds interest and you still have some details in the trees. The sky is a distraction and personally, I would do a sky replacement in Photoshop, either with a generated image or your own sunset photo. |

Interesting photo and I do like the stars. I think I would have cropped a little tighter on top - there are a lot of stars but the focal point is the windmill and water tower? I'm impressed with your use of light painting to brighten the image. It would have been nice to capture the moon in the shot, but we can't control everything :). |

I love the work you did in Lightroom to bring out the detail in the cliffs and color of the water. The motor was a bit puzzling to me at first - I wasn't sure what it was at first glance, but it became clear after reading your description. For clarity, I would either include more of the boat to add context or eliminate the motor entirely - just my thoughts. |

Wow! The colors in this shot are beautiful! Very captivating photo! I can't think of anything to change. I guess if you wanted to get picky you could stamp out the tie down lines, but honestly, I like it the way it is. |

The leaves add an interesting dynamic to the image. I like the way the face is framed with the leaves connoting passage of time. I might crop down a little from the top and tone down the leaves as Sheldon suggested. |
