I like the low angle you took on this photo and the leading lines draw you to the duck at the end. Since I am captivated with the remove tool in Photoshop Beta as of late, I would eliminate the buildings in the background. Just a thought. |

I agree with all of the above. Beautiful portrait - great pose, soft lighting, and background all add to the mood of this photo. The dark shadow under the chin is a little distracting, but other than that, I really like this image! |

I like the cropped image better and don't think it takes away from the distance to tide. It still tells the story- lobster trap on the beach isn't going to catch much! Nice texture on the sand and it isn't blow out! Looks good! |

Photoshop Beta is truly amazing isn't it? I have used the generate fill to remove distractions and if the background is fairly consistent, it seems to do a good job at filling in the gaps. Great shot! I was wondering if you needed to do a sky replacement but nature provided the perfect sky! The color and lighting is nice and balanced! Great photo! |

I really like the composition with the reflection of the duck. Nice coloring on the bill and webbed feet. The texture in the black head seems a little subdued - I would have liked to see a little more detail here. Otherwise, great photo! |
