Your right, the background is too bright. I must spend more time in Photoshop to learn how to correct these distraction. You are also correct - sometimes to get what Mother Nature gives you - there was a cliff in front of me, so not too much room to move around :). |

Thanks Laura for your input. I do like your changes - I wish I could have gotten their eyes and both of their faces. Unfortunately, there was a cliff in front of me :). I appreciate you taking the time to show another presentation of this image. |

I like the effect of the sunstar. However, I would adjust the composition; the water and sky cut the picture in half, maybe reduce the amount of sky. Also, the sun is almost centered and may add more interest if offset to left or right. Perhaps the water reflecting the sun can be toned down. This is a tough shot to capture and I admire your tenacity to get it right. Good job! |

Nice picture! Did you spray the follows with water - the droplets really come through. Lighting is balanced on the flowers. Looks like there is either a hot spot on upper left petal or maybe the discoloration is due to something else? Shadows on white background is a little distracting. Otherwise, great photo! |

I'm impressed that you remembered to go back to this image that was taken five years ago! Nice shot, great composition - I like the texture of the feathers that Topaz undoubtedly brought out. I also like that you can see both eyes of the bird in the back. Shooting in snow has got to be tough, but you managed to get texture on the snow as well. Great photo! |

Beautiful! I think I want to move, but I don't think I would survive the winters. The colors and exposure looks great. Focusing looks sharp throughout. The one distracting feature is the sun highlighted on the far right tree. I don't know how difficult this would be to remove, but just a thought. |

I really like that you converted this image to monochrome - nice touch in bringing out the clouds. I might have cropped the right side a little. Other than that, it's beautiful! |
