Great shot. Sharp. This can be used as a greeting card for christmas.
Can I know what is the mist behind the house on the rightside of the frame. Is this a natural phenomenon when the smoke from the stacks is rising vertically. |

I see that the focusing point is somewhere in the middle of the frame, thus drawing the viewers from the 4 sides towards it.
Bill lightening up the picture is better for me.

I trust the lighthouse is working. The punch will come if you can wait a little bit longer for the sky to get dark and the light is shining brightly, like during sunset scenario. Just a thought.
Have you done a lot of cropping for this frame? Maybe a wider view would be better (with 30mm lens). If this is the frame you had wanted, the focusing pts should be on the lighthouse and you can have more details of the lighthouse. Would it be better if you can lower the camera to the level as the top sides of the 2 side railings. Just another thought.

I noticed that the glass panel on the rightmost is ONLY 2D. There is no thickness.
Just a thought. If you are able to move the camera to align all the sections of the staggered walls closer, you will have a good opportunity to capture a complete reflection of the crane on 4 different mirrors with different heights.
If you are going into creativity shot, I am not sure if you can use post processing to bring the 4 sections closer, to show the complete crane.
I would prefer a natural color for the sky as the background.

Thank you all for the feedback on the different compositions. Brightening up the city without overexposure of the fireworks would be great.
The structure on the left is a hotel built and owned by the Las Vegas Sand. It is a 6 stars hotel with the shape of a ship as the rooftop. The ferris wheel is closer to me than the hotel.
