Thank you for the feedback.
As it was not intended to be a portrait shot, I did not crop away all the background, leaving behind 1 parachuter in the rear.
I agree that the rear parachuter should be moved closer to the main subject. |

As I have limited experience with post editing, I will comment on a portrait shot.
If this horse is taken as a sole portrait shot, I would like to have some of the grasses in the foreground to be in focus as well while the background remains blur. This would brings out the subject.
I feel the horse looks better in the original colour.

It definitely looks better with the eyes and face shown clearly in any portrait shot.
If the water is calmer, the reflection of the bird would enhance the overall picture.

I find that there are too much over exposures / highlights coming from the clouds.
If the wind mill (the subject) has a plan sky background (remove all the highlights and brings up the overall shadows in the foreground), it would give a calmer overall effect.
As the wind mill is pointing to the left, it should be located on the rightside of the frame pointing to the left of the composition. |

I noticed that the red colour did not fully covered the man's shirt. The red is shifted away from his left shoulder to the rightside.
The bright sunlight does made the edges of the shadows sharp. |

Good that none of the birds in the lighter background merge together. The bright light of the day does bring out the sharpness of the bird contours. Without the bottom half with the dark background, it does give the effect of a chinese ink painting. |
