60 Jan 23 Reply Thank you - I do have a remote shutter release that I seldom use - I've been relying primarily on the camera timer but no luck with the timing. I will pull it out of storage. Jan 14th
60 Jan 23 Comment Hi Anne, You did a great job converting the image to B&W. I too think losing the sunburst will not impact your composition. Jan 9th
60 Jan 23 Comment Hi Rita, I agree with the other comments - I think a tighter crop will make your subject pop. Jan 7th

60 Jan 23 Comment I recently ventured out to shoot wildlife and needless to say I have an entirely new appreciation for people who shoot the untamed. I like the background color in your image and the detail in the Woodpecker. After I read your post, I invested in a copy of Topaz - I'm pretty impressed with the results.
Nice job on your image.

Just curious when you shoot wildlife do you shoot in Aperture priority?

60 Jan 23 Comment Beautiful contrast, I especially like the dominance of the white in your image. The slight opening, leading line of the bridge and footsteps in the snow are excellent and lead you perfectly to the final destination - the library. Great image. Thank you for sharing your technique in creating the image. Jan 6th

60 Jan 23 Comment This is a great image. I too like the powdered sugar floating down to the cupcake. I tried to do something similar recently, but I was unable to shake the powder and shoot. Did you have assistance? Jan 6th
60 Jan 23 Reply Thank you for your comment. Not a good image to start with I will crop for the archive and call this one a lesson for the book. Jan 6th
60 Jan 23 Reply Thanks for the comments. I will crop this image for my archive and moving forward I will post recent images. Jan 6th
60 Jan 23 Reply Thank you for your feedback. That was my though too. Thanks for your honesty. Jan 4th
