Thank you - I do have a remote shutter release that I seldom use - I've been relying primarily on the camera timer but no luck with the timing. I will pull it out of storage. |

Hi Anne, You did a great job converting the image to B&W. I too think losing the sunburst will not impact your composition. |

I recently ventured out to shoot wildlife and needless to say I have an entirely new appreciation for people who shoot the untamed. I like the background color in your image and the detail in the Woodpecker. After I read your post, I invested in a copy of Topaz - I'm pretty impressed with the results.
Nice job on your image.
Just curious when you shoot wildlife do you shoot in Aperture priority?

Beautiful contrast, I especially like the dominance of the white in your image. The slight opening, leading line of the bridge and footsteps in the snow are excellent and lead you perfectly to the final destination - the library. Great image. Thank you for sharing your technique in creating the image. |

This is a great image. I too like the powdered sugar floating down to the cupcake. I tried to do something similar recently, but I was unable to shake the powder and shoot. Did you have assistance? |
