60 Dec 22 Comment Beautiful image Rita. Very pretty color and reflect, and I agree with the others on the cropping the branches. Love to see the final image. Dec 19th
60 Dec 22 Comment I have a hard enough time shooting above ground, I can only imagine how difficult it is to shoot underwater, let alone with subjects that are swaying back and forth. I like the image and it's interesting to see the type of life that thrives in the water. At first, I thought it was shot through plexiglass at an aquarium because of the difference in the background color and foreground color, so it was helpful to have the description. It's a great image. Dec 18th
60 Dec 22 Comment You captured the egret at a great moment, it's a great scene. The profile angle is outstanding, from his wings to his feet, you really feel this bird's movement. The overall color looks good, and I like the way the branches frame the egret. I'm not a birdie but was he coming in for a landing or taking off?

I also have a 300mm lens that I seldom use because of the weight and the need for a tripod, but I do like your suggestion for using the car or something in the field to help stabilize it. Maybe I'll dust it off and go to a local spot and see if I can make friends with the local wildlife. Thanks for sharing your beautiful image.

60 Dec 22 Comment Thank you for feedback.

I adjusted the mask on the Lighthouse in Lightroom and adjusted the levels in PS. I tried applying AI on the sky, but it looked a bit sloppy around the lower part of the bridge and the lighthouse, so I removed it. Let me know if I went too far.

60 Dec 22 Comment You two made still life photography look so easy. The arrangement is beautiful, and you photographed it perfectly. It is a picture-perfect greeting card. Season's Greetings! Dec 13th
60 Dec 22 Comment Wow, great image. I love how the sunrays highlight the trees in the background and the haystacks in the foreground. I have heard and seen many presentations on bracketing, but I've never actually tried it in the field, I will be researching it further and I try it for myself. Thank you for sharing your technique. My only suggestion is you might consider cropping out the dense trees on the right-side of the image.

I think the image I posted could have benefitted from the bracketing.

60 Dec 22 Comment I like the way you handled the background without losing the feel of the city, the bokeh and light streaks are outstanding. Your lighting on the subject is very nice, and you captured great detail including the catchlight in his eyes. I also like the way you cropped the image. The three pinkish spots in the upper left corner are a bit distracting. Excellent capture. Dec 10th
60 Dec 22 Reply Thank you for your feedback. I did lighten the base and tower a bit from the original, but you are right it still a bit dark. I'll hit it again! Dec 9th
