Hi Frans. Thanks for your comments. I did struggle somewhat with the sharpness of the background but decided not to bother it before seeing what comments I would received. I will try your suggestions. |

Hi Tracy. Thanks for your comments. I typically use a bit faster shutter speed to eliminate hand shake. With today's camera sensors and also postprocessing software, ISOs such as the 4000 I used with this image don't seem to be a problem, although I do try to keep ISO as low as possible as will give me the proper exposure with the other settings I have selected. |

After you open an image in Camera Raw, on the upper right side you will see 7 symbols and under the last one is 3 dots. Choose the symbol just above the 3 dots which is presets. Once you've clicked on the preset tool, click on Adaptive Subject. Under that menu you will see several presets to highlight your subject (the preset will automatically choose your subject). Glow is the bottom most tool in the list. I also have used both Pop and Warm Pop. |

Ginny and Dan, thank you both for your comments. I could work on the background a bit and then use a recently discovered tool in PS to add some glow to the chicks. |
