Thanks Fran. I watched the video and will try out that technique. Also I like your approach to start with the chick. |

Ginny-My 01/15 reply was sent from Erik Rosengren's computer and I didn't realize it would show his name and picture. Sorry for any confusion. Still learning this system. - Jack Twiggs |

It is my understanding that here in Florida, a Red Head is rare, yet in the last two weeks, we've seen three of them. Beautiful ducks. If you crop more of the top and if you have it, extend the bottom just a little, it will make the image seem more at eye level. I just learned that trick from a friend that is an avid wildlife photographer. In fact, be on the lookout for his article in the February issue of the PSA Journal on places to photograph wildlife in Florida. |

Love the expression on the otter's face. If you are concerned about the slightly out of focus tail, you might try isolating it with a layer and use a sharpening tool. However, Like Ginny, it doesn't bother me at all. |

What an unusual and awesome fish. Could you lighten the eye and surrounding area just a little bit? Otherwise a great image. Like David, I am curious how and where you took it. |

Sorry to hear about your knee but glad you are mending. I was just at Merritt Island and got some good hawk shots. About a 25 minute drive west of there is the Orlando Wetlands which as a very nice boardwalk and lots of Spoonies and other water birds. Both places are great. |

Nice image Ginny. I would recommend you try darkening the green areas to see if it will bring more emphasis to the orchid proper and possibly increase the brightness just a little bit of the dark blue areas and perhaps even to the purple areas but less than the dark blue areas. |
