This is where burst fire might save you. You can see they will be an issue for your subject so anticipating that you need to get the shot before they merge is part of the overall technique. Start the burst a little early and hope there is the great expression before the subject moves into the distraction. You had a very tight window between the signage and the spectators. I think if it was a crowd I would be able to look past it easier. Just my 2 cents. Action sports are hard. Just like trying to keep the ball/puck in frame.

I find this to be amazing. Really nice capture. Probably could tone the greens down a bit. I really enjoy the image. |

Loving all the texture here. I was having a hard time finding the waterline which I think is a good thing because I kept seeing cool details. |

I really like all the shapes of the glasses and the refractions in them. I feel a little busy by the overall scene though. I also wonder if you are using your own imagery for the background as I was spending time exploring that as much as the refractions. Very cool stuff to play with. Light Science and Magic is a book I have used for awhile to better understand light field and dark field photography and all those wonderful angles.

I really like the intensity of the rider and the horse. You are fighting with distractions in the back ground from the white railings and the 2 people but I like the separation of all those elements out of focus. The merger with the pant leg and the crop disappearing from the frame are negatives. The Sharp eye of the horse and the frozen action are great. |

A Solid capture of the scene with decent exposure. With a title of waterfall I was surprised the water elements were not as dominant in the frame. I love the colors along the banks. I would consider cropping from the bottom or change the focus to the rock formations by loosing the sky. I see this as a riverscape more than a waterfall but it is well executed. |
