Jay, the blue and yellow, the movement and still sky - are all very well done. My only suggestion to you - clean the camera's sensor.

This is perfect articulation of the the different elements of the scene. The person's head exactly on the wheel and the two balustrades lines are locking the subject spot on. WOW

This is as close to perfect as can. If I had 1 suggestion : wait 1 sec more for the motorcycle not to touch the curved line above. Great picture !

It seems to me you specialized in phone photography. your results are striking every month. In particular the exposure is spot on although the mixed lights.

This is sooo cool it looks like a bird's beak. The symmetry is perfect. I love it.

Brilliant thought! to darken the bright green. YES YES YES.
The parallax - Im afraid will have to stay. the different structures are at different distance and the effect is therefore different. I will try thought...

Thanks for the thought. I appreciate a strong critique. This is the only way to learn. I agree with you somewhat however this is not an architectural photo session but more a "Nat Geo " flavor. Indeed there is a mixture of old and new shapes and colors, which was exactly the intent of the photo. |

The scene is good the exposure is good the subject is good the light - as you wrote is not. This makes the difference between a wow picture and ok picture. My suggestion - come another day. come at night. This is the life of a photographer ...

What a lovely scene. The contrast and colors are great.
Why square crop ? |

A classic view!! Is that an accurate 16:9 ratio ?
my only thought is the white spot on the lower right hand side. I think it is snow still I would consider cloning out .

Larry,
This is a good story and a good picture. My thoughts for you:
1. A bit lower angle towards the sky. That will create a better separation positioning the little tree above the horizon.
2. Take the exposure from the tree rather than an average / from the rock.

Barbara,
This is a very good execution of the scenery. I like in particular the low contrast. The combination of a vertical frame with 90 degrees between the river and the bridge is very appealing. |
