Jay I love the fact the boat is under the horizon line. Well done. I would crop the sand a bit out.

Stan, I am not sure about this one. It seems that it is out of focus towards the end of the chapel but the floor is in focus.

B,
very engaging and well done. I like the original more than your edited ver. See another proposed crop |

Very nicely done and composed. My only thought is in regards the top right hand side - something in the edit seems out of balance to me. |

Michael, each and every side (4) of this picture is a stand alone and a good picture by itself. Putting them all together all in hyper focal distance makes my eye run around looking for the subject. Mind as well they are all of the same colors.
I think Larry was making the same point of many options of good crops. |

Larry, the composition is good exposure and edit are good. I think it is too yellow. you can argue this is the time of the day but still it is very yellow. Maybe this is just my screen or my perspective. |

I think you did very well for a gloomy day. The brighter cloud catches the viewers eye in a focal point and the colors are great.

Hi Larry,
the posted result is the application of -4EV applying both options. The sun the sun is the sun and always burns a hole in the image.
As for balance - I have to agree to some extent. If I took a complete frontal view of the lake then it will look complete flat.Do you think it is still preferred to have a flat mirror over less balanced ?

Interesting, engaging, dynamic, negative space, are all words that come to me looking at your picture. I think I see a leave at the top but I am not sure. Not sure what to think.... |

Elise, photographing trees in dense location is a difficult task and often times it does not come out well. You did great. |

Technically this is perfect. However, in my personal taste the new crisp sharp look does not follow the atmosphere of the old train. |

This is a very humoristic picture. I love it. This is straight forward. Well done. I read once an article about a photographer who had a project of billboards. This is kind of the same. |
