19 Aug 24 Reply Thx you comment it is spot on. This is for a book Im working about Appalachia and the its local lifestyle. The intent was to show the calmness and solitude. Aug 27th
19 Aug 24 Comment Hi J,
There is a compelling story between the the lady and the cow the lines of the structure are blurry not to distract yet telling the story.
On the other hand, the subject is darker than the background my attention is pulled to the light in the background but that can be fixed very easy in the edit. Very well done.

19 Aug 24 Comment Beautiful. A very well executed photo. The exposure color and sharpness are spot on. Very nice

19 Aug 24 Comment I like the two different scenes merging into one. Very compelling and interesting. The Contrasts of the two different location is well presented. Nice

19 Aug 24 Comment This is a classic photo from the 1930's by many early famous photographers. Perfect execution and edit. Well done. perhaps a bit more space on the right hand side of the cup can help Aug 27th
19 Aug 24 Comment Very nice portrait. perhaps an open apreture with a blurred background could emphasize more the subject. the angle is perfect. Well done

19 Aug 24 Comment Wow is the word !. Phan Ho is the next thought in mind. This is a good ver. of the B&W done many years ago but perhaps your colors are even better. Well done

19 Aug 24 Reply Harriet thank you for the good thought I'll definitely try that Aug 15th

36 Aug 24 Comment Its the perspective. In the beach there are a lot of obstacles around. cables, chair, umbrellas, people etc and i worked carefully to remove as muc as possible this acme at the cost of less water. Thank you D Aug 27th
36 Aug 24 Reply I actually like your comment a-lot creating even more black space and removing all detail from both sides with emphasize the chair even more. Yes !
Aug 27th
36 Aug 24 Reply Thanks B, I will try again this frame but without the chair and share it with you.
Aug 27th
36 Aug 24 Reply You are correct there is no reflective light form the mountain counter and there are no details to recover. Perhaps try again this shot in the blue hr. Aug 27th
36 Aug 24 Reply There is nothing wrong with not liking a picture. the board on the back is blank (I think they put a plastic note on it during summer) so it does create a blank spot. Thank L i appreciate the input Aug 27th
36 Aug 24 Comment Very impressive. The edit of the parallax lines makes it look so much better. If I see correctly the white balance was changed a bit to a warmer tone. I do think that a bit more space would not hurt. Aug 27th
36 Aug 24 Reply see here example Aug 27th
36 Aug 24 Comment I agree with Arne. Your choise to photo the scene with the clouds really makes it special. the B&W is even stronger. Aug 27th
36 Aug 24 Comment Barbara made the comment documentary style and i think she is spot on. The combination of B&W with the business of the frame gives it much of this flavor. Nice !
Aug 25th
36 Aug 24 Comment Very impressive. The white balance allows all the different blue tones show so nicely. I like it a lot. Aug 25th
36 Aug 24 Comment The composition is wonderful and the textures are great. There is a thin line around the edges of the clouds as if the clarity slider was set high. Is it only me ?
Aug 25th
36 Aug 24 Comment Very nicely done B ! the silhouette of the trees against the night skies is like a painting. I wish i knew about this event too what a miss. Definitely a keeper

36 Aug 24 Reply Thank you M

83 Aug 24 Reply Thanks L Aug 27th
83 Aug 24 Reply Thx D. More to come :) Aug 27th
83 Aug 24 Comment Don, I share the same thoughts as the others mentioned above. However, my eye gets stuck on the white cloud again and again rather than the rider. Aug 24th
83 Aug 24 Comment Very nice capture. I like the off set / rule of thirds. I like the graduated tonality fading to black. I like the blurred background telling the story and place of the guy. Very well done

83 Aug 24 Comment Hi Elise,
The exposure and subject are great. My eyes are going over and over to the sky specifically where the wall ends. maybe its just me...
Aug 12th
83 Aug 24 Comment M, Well done. I agree with eh above thoughts. A question: did you try the picture on portrait direction ?
Aug 12th
83 Aug 24 Comment The process of combining the images is interesting and I would love to hear more. As for the picture presented - I agree with M, it is kind of busy. Aug 11th
