Jay, this is a very compelling picture. The late afternoon light and the objects in the background are all telling the story of the scene. Well done

I would name this picture "Rising above the crowd" good catch ! this is fast moving scene and you got it right. Well done.

For me what makes the picture very good is the different perspective. while the scene is not new a subject it is the way you chose to show it. Well done

Diane, This a good picture. The trees around are the background and the houses of the valley - as the main feature. I feel too much clarity but maybe Im wrong. The Crop adds as well. Nice ! |

I agree with Larry Arne, the warm tone makes a big favorable difference. I do see something in the darker clouds -ring like lines which I am not sure why. The square crop is very engaging. |

Very nice M. The full histogram is helping a lot the scene. If i had to guess you brightened the white wall a bit which enhances even more. Perfectly presented.

Very nicely done Larry, I do agree with the above compliments. I like especially the line of the dock in white. The curved line gives the sense of depth rather than just a flat horizon. |

A very well presentation of "relaxed" atmosphere. I can feel the rhyme of the place. very nicely done. You chose a fairly narrow range of tones right in the middle of the histogram. Is there a particular reason ?

this is a great portrait. I have something very similar I can share of which I took in one of the riding competitions of my daughter. The eyes are telling the story. The background is not overwhelming. I like it a lot. |

I Think this is a brilliant piece. It is different fresh and well presented. The contrast, histogram and the tonally are good the texture is exceptional. The subject is in place and and well presented against the surroundings. nothing to touch. probable one of the better tree pictures I have seen in the las months. |
