36 Feb 23 Comment Thanks Bill,
The noise is mostly stars that look like noise as Im reducing the image quality and size for posting. Yet I do agree there is some noise. I could flatten it out (I played with it) but it seemed to me un-naturally flat and smooth so I left it as is. The Z9 has a good sensor the Z7II as well I use the 810A for night it is superb. To my surprise my Fuji is out performing at night photo. No post processing a bit a crop on the left as Michael suggested above. and "Auto" on the RAW in Photoshop

36 Feb 23 Comment I agree with Larry about the ghostly people. It is a pleasing picture. For me the contrast is too low. Feb 15th
36 Feb 23 Comment This is a keeper. Exposure, composition, etc..
see proposed ver of a bit different crop to consider

36 Feb 23 Comment Vertical and horizontal - both work for me. I love the cars in the picture. They give a good sense of dimension and space.on the editing I would recommend 2 minor opportunities:
1. cool down a bit the white balance - it will kick out the cold colors
2. try increase 3-5% the contrast.

36 Feb 23 Comment The scene is nice and the picture is peaceful. If I can tell correctly, the image is not crisp sharp as it is through the window while driving. I wish it was. Feb 15th
36 Feb 23 Comment I like the warm tone of the low light. The tree is counter weight to the lighthouse structure giving it balance. What is the red spot on the right hand side lower branch ? Feb 15th
36 Feb 23 Comment Feb 3rd
36 Feb 23 Reply Now that we agreed this is a real photo and not edited artistry (As any photographer should as opposed to editor)
attached is the more cropped ver on the left as you proposed.
Again in my view "what you shoot is what you get" ( with a bit of exposure corrections and such)

83 Feb 23 Reply Thank you Jon. Appreciated Feb 25th
83 Feb 23 Comment The assumption there is a river only ju by the name is wrong. SO WRONG. Judge the picture based on the picture. Not on what you think maybe would have been nice.
What if the name has nothing to-do with the picture and maybe this is just a puddle and I used a 300mm lens just to crop the street infront and house on the left ? What would you say then. ðŸ”

83 Feb 23 Comment The High key portrait work well! The light shades on the bottom are transitioning to darker upwards in the photo following the dog. I find it very compelling and pleasing.

83 Feb 23 Comment It is posed well. Im not sure if the focus is crisp. Could be interesting to see it in color too, mind as well you mentioned stunning colors.

83 Feb 23 Comment I like it. For me it tells a photojournalism story. The B&W seems to fit well. Feb 15th
83 Feb 23 Comment Yes Birch. In my view the assessment of the picture should be about the picture and not what we would hope to have seen and of which is outside the picture.

83 Feb 23 Comment Thank you. Telephoto lens Nikkor 300mm D f4 If Ed, but indeed great for micro an macro. Works great with a +1/2 at 120 cm and ofcourse with 20mm extension ring / tube

83 Feb 23 Comment Large, medium, small. Nice ! I like the texture of the cloths and hats. The light blurred object in front of the rod distracts my attention from the subject. Feb 2nd
83 Feb 23 Comment The depth of field is phenomenal. The picture is beautiful and with a wide range of tones. I wonder about the background is that taken as Dark Field macro flash technique? Feb 2nd
83 Feb 23 Comment I like the horizontal strong thick line vs the thin light vertical lines of the rain. This is pleasant and nice.Well done
