Thank you John for sharing your thoughts. I honestly don't think the sky can be cropped more. There is not much sky in the image. If I crop the sky, then there would not been any space between the big sea stack.

Thank you Mike for your very kind comment. One rule I have been trying to stick with my photography for the past few years, is once I get to the location start to look around and take sometime to assess different composition and opportunity. I found that this help me to get better images (sometimes...) and more importantly I got home with less images to work on. In one week in Oregon I had 350 images all together. Few years ago I would have come back with 3,500....

John, an excellent image capturing this temple. I like the soft light of the blue hour and your composition. I think your image is tilted to the left. I would also try to add some contrast to the temple so it can stand out a little bit more from the background that has a similar "color palette".

MIke,
I like your composition and I agree the shades of grasses and gravels create a very artistic pattern. I am not sure if this is because the small size of the image, but to me the image lack sharpness. However, you can consider to make it more artistic by giving it an impressionistic painting effect.

This is an excellent minimalist image Spring. I agree that moving the boat to the right was a wise choice. I would consider to clone out the buildings in the foreground. In a minimalist image like this one my eye is attracted by them.
Excellent work

Srijan, this is a very nice image. To me the strong point of your composition are the triangular shapes of the green hills and the mountain. The gray sky also create some contrast. However, considering that the image was taken with a flat light, I am wondering if you have considered to convert it in monochrome. In that case I think you could work on increasing contrast in the sky to make a little more dramatic and create a more moody image. I took the liberty to play with your image. Let me know what do you think |

Tom, this is a beautiful scenery and I think you have captured you well. The sky with the clouds reflected in the water add some interest and the yellow boat is adding contrast and is placed where the leading lines of the water are guiding the eye.
I think that this image could probably improve if you crop it (keeping the 2:3 ratio) taking away some of the foreground and some of the left side of the image. This would probably take care also of Mike's suggestions.

Susan, I think this picture is great because the expression of the man looking at the car. It tells all the story. It is a pity there is the dashboard from your car in the lower corner. However, you may consider to crop it out by cropping the image. Indeed a very colorful Corvette.

Thank you Lou and Susan, for taking the time to look and comment on my image. I took the suggestion of both of you and Keisha, and have increased contrast for the two "lovers" and it works better.
Have a great Sunday

This is an amazing capture of a street scenery with some pictorial post processing. The window let us to know where the image was taken. The couple kissing is matching the idea of "sweet" that we have from the place. The phone in the hand of the man it makes all the story. We wonder if he is looking at it instead dedicating all the attention to his partner.
A great image

Excellent work Lou in capturing this scenery. It tells a story that this is a tourist trying to keep on paper memories of a travel. It is nice to realize there are still people that uses pen and paper....
An alternative to blurring or toning down the background fence would be to have a little vignetting.
best
