John, this panorama like view of Florence is excellent. I am wondering if this is a panorama crop or a real panorama. I agree with Tom that the two star bursts on the left create some distraction. Your post processing it may have been heavy but the final result is a well balanced image.

First of all this is a wonderful scenery to start with. The image is sharp and nicely processed with a "pictorial artistic style". I am not a big fan of this, but this is a personal taste. I think considering the post processing and the overall aspect of the image, the seagull is adding an artistic touch and contributes to tell a story. From the pure photographic point of view it appears to be fake. But again, this is a question of personal preference. I would love to see the original image.

Thank you Tom, Stephen and John, much appreciated you taking the time to look and comment on my image. Tom, I think your idea to tone down the light on the side of the church may be a good one. John, I add one with more foreground, but it won't help much and actually I think it would create some distraction.

An image that convey a feeling of happiness and joy. It is clear Abby is enjoying her time at the park. The low angle used is adding a lot to the image.

Very nice monochrome documentary image Chuck. I do think the image tells a story. We so often see images of abandoned buildings suggesting of a society declining. Seeing this construction tells there is another story that it could be told. I like the composition and your post process.
